HISTORIAN
The Historian is in charge of capturing the best moments from every chair within LAE and posting it on our social media. They are also in charge of organizes the patches that hang in the CJ lobby.
INTRAMURALS
The Delta Chi chapter participates as a team at the intramural sports and activities that Sam Houston State University provides for us.
FIREARMS
The firearms chair educates our members on the safety of firearms and instructs you how to properly shoot a firearm. Safety is our number one priority on range days.
FORMAL/ INFORMAL
Every semester Delta Chi provides the members with a formal or informal. This is where potentials are sworn in, new committee heads are announced, and in the spring we announce the new executive board.
Formal is in the fall semester and informal is in the spring semester.
PHYSICAL TRAINING
Physical training provides workouts that are meant to prepare those who intend on attending police academy or correctional academy. However, it is available for those who do not have an interest in attending either.
CORRECTIONS
Corrections educates members about the prison system. They do so by bringing in correctional officers as speakers or providing prison tours throughout the state of Texas.
LEGAL ASPECTS
Legal aspects focuses on providing information to those who intend on attending law school. They also inform membership about the court system or current events. At the end of the semester the legal aspect chair prepares a mock trial where membership applies their knowledge about courts in a fake trial.
REGIONALS/ NATIONALS
Regionals is a conference in the fall semester where Delta-Chi competes against the other chapters in region 2.
Nationals is a competition in the spring semester where Delta-Chi competes on a nation-wide level.

Theses events are divided into lower-class, upper-class, and professional.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Public relations introduces members into professionalism and provides speakers from any field within the criminal justice system.

VICTIM SERVICES
Victim services educates membership on the different warning signs of abuse towards yourself or others. They also provide community services to prepare rape kits or volunteer at shelters.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
Law enforcement teaches training tactics that are meant to prepare those who intend on attending police academy. However, it is open to anyone in membership who is interested.
